This privacy policy applies to the Pocket Paths mobile game operated by CGP Spotlight Inc.
Overview
Pocket Paths is a puzzle game for Android and iPhone published by CGP Spotlight Inc. as part of CGP Games. This policy explains what information the game uses, who receives it, and the choices you have. By using the game you agree to the practices described here.
No Account Needed
Pocket Paths does not ask you to sign up or log in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts, and the game does not send your personal information to CGP Spotlight Inc.
Information Stored on Your Device
Your game progress is saved only on your own phone. This includes the levels you have solved, your stars and best times, your hint balance, your daily puzzle results and streak, and your reminder setting. It also includes simple counters the game uses to space out ads, such as how many levels you have finished since the last ad. We do not receive or keep a copy of this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
Advertising
Pocket Paths is free to play and is supported by ads from Google AdMob. Ads appear between levels, and when you choose to watch an ad in exchange for a hint. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information from your device, such as your device's advertising ID, your IP address, general location based on that IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google uses this information as described in its own privacy policy, including how Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites We do not sell your personal information, and we do not receive the data Google collects to show ads.
Your Ad Choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time using "Privacy choices" on the game's home screen. If you do not consent, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized. On iPhone, the game asks for your permission before your device's advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this at any time in your iPhone's Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Settings under Privacy, then Ads (the exact wording depends on your phone).
Daily Reminders
If you turn on daily reminders, the game schedules notifications on your phone to let you know when a new daily puzzle is ready. These are created and delivered by your phone itself. We do not use a notification server and do not collect a device token or any other information to send them. You can turn reminders off at any time from the game's home screen, or in your phone's notification settings.
Sharing Your Results
When you tap Share, the game opens your phone's standard share menu with a short summary of your daily result. Nothing is sent unless you choose where to share it, and we do not receive a copy.
Children
Pocket Paths is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us and we will help.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or limit how it is used. Because your game progress stays on your device and we do not receive personal information from the game, most requests are handled directly on your phone: you can delete the app to remove your progress, and use the ad choices above to control advertising. For information Google collects to show ads, you can contact Google or use the controls at myadcenter.google.com. You are also welcome to contact us with any request or question at the address below.
